ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
I take an eclectic approach that includes evidenced-based practices and intuitive modalities, such as astrology and dreamwork, that will be tailored to actualize your unique goals. Social workers are different from other therapists because we are trained to consider the client within their environment. I do not diagnose or medicate. I work to amplify the sovereign wisdom of each individual; while honoring and addressing the ways they may be debilitated by environmental factors such as trauma, oppression, and systemic violence.
At its most basic, therapy is about one imperfect human connecting with another. I am just another flawed human here to bear witness, to validate, to support, and to celebrate you. We humans learn best through play and I do hope intend to build a friendly, playful report so our sessions are effective and also enjoyable.
I have a deep commitment to social justice and building a better world for all beings. I previously worked as a high school teacher and community organizer. After years of trying to "change the system," I have found that peace and justice must first manifest in our most intimate relationship with ourselves.
