Aloha to everyone! I have been a board-certified family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) since 2015. I began my studies in Minnesota and earned my bachelor's degree from the College of St. Scholastica. I moved on to earn my master's and doctorate degree from the University of South Alabama in 2015. I have more than nine years of experience providing mental health care and medication management via telehealth in an outpatient office setting.

Throughout my journey in college and healthcare I have placed emphasis on breaking barriers to care and de-stigmatizing mental health. I am passionate about supporting the individual goals, uniqueness, growth, and development of the clients that I work with. I am grateful for the opportunity to help others improve their mental health.

Treatment Approach: My treatment and therapy are tailored to the individual. This often includes: medication management, psychodynamic, supportive, solution focused, integrative, CBT, and person-centered therapy. When delivering care, I strive to provide culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, individualized care. I believe in a holistic, integrative approach and am looking forward to the opportunity to work with you on meeting your goals.

In developing treatment plans I utilize a collaborative approach one that we are both comfortable with and can include both FDA approved medications as well as recommendations for alternative homeopathic treatment options. I value consulting with client’s complete care team including therapist, OBGYN’s, or primary care providers.

Hobbies: I enjoy selfcare and spending time with my family. I enjoy taking in beautiful sights, spending time outdoors, reading, and traveling.

Areas of expertise: I commonly treat anxiety/anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar and other mood disorders, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, substance use and addiction, BPD, and co-occurring disorders.
